Leland Middle School students pledge to end bullying
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — This week Leland Middle Schools students were hard at work across campus.
The “End Bullying Week” campaign was started by the Young Men of Distinction, a club working to end bullying.
Art classes decorated sidewalks and created messages of support, an end bullying video played school-wide and the entire school took and signed the “End Bullying at LMS” pledge.
There were also daily announcements about stopping bullying and dealing with problems in a healthy way.
School leaders say “End Bullying Week” will continue to with a yearly focus.
