Leland Police looking for bank robber

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Leland Police need help finding a bank robber. It happened at the Cape Fear Credit Union in the Cross Creek Commons shopping center in front of Walmart around 10 a.m.

Police say a black man about 5’10” with an athletic build wearing a green knit hat, dark colored coat, blue jeans and white shoes showed a teller a handgun and demanded money. He drove off in a red two-door 1997 or later Pontiac Gran Prix with an undisclosed amount of cash.
