Leland police searching for suspect who used counterfeit cash

LELAND, NC (WWAY) – The Leland Police Department is searching for the person who passed off a counterfeit $100 bill.

Police say the man in this surveillance photo walked into the Walgreens in front of Magnolia Greens and used the counterfeit cash.

It happened August 14.
