Leland Police ask for help identifying Walmart theft suspect

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Leland Police are looking for help identifying a man they say stole from Walmart earlier this month.

The police department posted two surveillance photos of the man on its Facebook page. According to the post, the man is wanted in connection with a larceny at Walmart on January 13.

Police say the suspect was seen leaving in a red/maroon color Volkswagen Passat. A LPD spokesman said no other information was available.
