Local Alumnae Chapter gives out early Christmas gifts to the community
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)– On December 13th, The Wilmington Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, located on Seventh Street, provided Christmas gifts to senior citizens of Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender counties.
Lead by Acquinetta Beatty, each member got a Christmas bag and drove to over one hundred senior citizens of the community and give them an early Christmas gift. In each bag there were fruits, socks, a gift card, and a recipe for a tasty dessert.
