Local fans cheer on their team during game five of NBA Finals

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Basketball was the buzz word in the Cape Fear Thursday night. Groups of friends and fans were out at Courts and Sports in Wilmington watching the all-important game five of the NBA finals.

This was a key game as Miami Heat went into the game, 3-1 in the series of 7 games against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Many fans we talked with from both sides said LeBron James is overdue for a championship ring.
