A look at HIV cases in the US

A new website offers the first of its kind county – a level look at HIV cases in the US.

According to www.MapHIV.org, the infection is concentrated in about 20 percent of American counties, with the highest numbers of cases in population centers like New York and California.

The map was put together by the National Minority Quality Forum, a nonprofit research organization that has done other disease maps.
