Lotto winners collect

Remember that winning lottery ticket in Pender County we told you about last week? Turns out there’s not one, but two lucky winners of the merry millionaire jackpot.

Michelle Wilson of Surf City and Stephen Rudolph, Jr. of Sneads Ferry bought their million-dollar ticket at the Topsail Exxon in Hampstead.

A lottery spokesperson said the two split the winnings 50-50. She said they planned to use the money to pay bills and that they were flabbergasted when they found out they won.
