LuLaRunway Fashion Show benefits Vigilant Hope

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington models were strutting their stuff on the runway in the first-ever LuLa Runway event.

LuLaRoe hosted the fashion show fundraiser at Ironclad Brewery in Downtown Wilmington.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Vigilant Hope, a local non-profit that cares for the homeless community.

Organizers say Vigilant Hope is known for their mobile hygiene unity that can go anywhere in the city to provide services.

More than 20 models participated in the runway show.

“It’s just a big, fun girls night all to benefit Vigilant Hope,” LuLaRoe fashion consultant Laura Bullock.

People at the event could bid on the outfits and items from the runway show. Lula Runway organizers are hoping to make the fashion show an annual event.
