Man accused of following female drivers, exposing himself

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Pender County Sheriff’s Office said a Whiteville man is facing charges in connection with highway indecent exposures.

Deputies say Christopher Dean Todd, 33, was charged today on one count of misdemeanor indecent exposure, one count of misdemeanor stalking and one count of careless and reckless driving. They say a female driver said Todd followed her on US 421 in Pender County Tuesday and tried to get her to show him her breasts. When she tried to get away from him, deputies said Todd then exposed himself to her while in motion.
This isn’t the first time this has happened. Deputies said this victim had another encounter with Todd previously and he is a suspect in similar encounters on the same highway in both New Hanover and Pender counties.
