Man apparently o.d.’s in men’s room at Chick-Fil-A on Oleander

FROM A NEWS RELEASE SENT BY THE WILMINGTON POLICE DEPARTMENT:

Sometime after 8:00 p.m. Friday, a customer went into the men’s room and found a man who had died of an apparent drug overdose.

There are no signs of foul play, so this essentially was a medical call. The scene has been processed and the body is being taken away from the scene. The identity of the victim (possibly in his 30’s) has not yet been determined, but officers are working on it. It is unlikely that we will have anything further to release.
