Man arrested after truck crashes into Greenfield Lake pond

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police arrested a man after his truck crashed into Greenfield Lake Pond Saturday afternoon.

According to WPD spokeswoman Cathryn Lindsay, said Stephen Lebeau, 50, was charged with DWI. Lindsay said Lebeau was arrested, but first taken to the hospital.

Another car was involved in the wreck, but Lindsay said there were no major injuries with either driver.

Lebeau is being held under a $1,000 secured bond.
