Man arrested for sex crimes with children

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Brunswick County man spent New Year’s Eve in jail after being charged with sex crimes involving children.

Harry Floyd, 59, of Ash, is charged with first degree sex offense with a child and indecent liberties with a child. Investigators say the crimes happened in 2013.

Deputies arrested Floyd yesterday. He is in jail under a $250,000 bond. According to documents, a judge ordered that if Floyd bonds out, he must not have any contact with anyone under the age of 18, cannot leave the county without permission and have GPS tracking.
