Man arrested for sexual abuse in Pender County

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Burgaw man is facing charges for sexually abusing a child.

Bobby Edward Moretz, 49, faces 13 counts. Those counts are made up of indecent liberties with child, statutory rape, second degree sexual offense, and sexual battery, according to jail records.

As of Friday morning, Moretz remains in the Pender County Jail on a $1.28 million bond.
