Man charged in connection with 2008 murder convicted again

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A convicted felon is headed back to prison.

Prosecutors said Terrence McIntyre, 26, was convicted Wednesday on charges of common law robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon. McIntyre will spend between two and four years in prison.

In May of last year, McIntyre attacked a woman he met up with to buy an assault rifle.

This isn’t the first time McIntyre has been in the news. On April 30, 2009 he pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury in the shooting death of Robert Lee Marshall Jr. He was one of several persons charged in that incident but was not charged with murder.
