Man charged with sex offenses involving 7-year-old girl

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Atkinson man is facing charges of sex offenses involving a young girl.

Pender County deputies say Joshua Adam Stroessenreuther, 21, was arrested Monday. Stroessenreuther faces one count count each of first degree sex offense with a child, indecent liberties with a child and sexual battery.

The incident involves a 7-year-old girl, deputies said. Stroessenreuther was given a $700,000.00 secured bond and is currently in the Pender County Jail.
