Man charged with sex offenses involving teen

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Leland Police have charged a man with sex offenses involving a teen.

Police say Kenneth McKnight is facing charges of statutory sex offense and sexual activity by substitute parent. Mcknight was arrested March 6 and received a $250,000 bond for the charges.

Police say McKnight was also on federal probation at a time of the incident.
