Man dies in Columbus County crash

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Troopers said a man has died after his vehicle crossed the center line, hitting a pickup truck.

Troopers said it happened this morning near the intersection of NC 410 and Roseland Road in the Chadbourn area. They said a Buick car with two men inside crossed the center and hit a Toyota pickup with another man driving that vehicle. The driver of the Buick died, while his passenger and the other driver were transported to area hospitals. Troopers did not have condition updates on the men injured.

No charges will be filed. Troopers said the next of kin have been identified.
