Man found in New Hanover Co. indicted on illegal reentry charges

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A man has been indicted for reentering the United States illegally from Mexico.

Jose Luis Torralba-Amador was charged with illegal reentry of a deported alien.

He, previously deported four times and found in New Hanover County, is alleged to have been previously deported following a felony drug conviction.

Therefore, if convicted, he would face a maximum imprisonment term of 10 years, a $250,000 fine, and a term of supervised release following any term of imprisonment.
