Man identified in car break-in, credit card thefts

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Deputies with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office say ATM surveillance images will helped them in a break-in investigation.

Deputies said the man pictured on these pictures broke into a vehicle and stole three credit cards from a victim in the Murrayville area. The thief then tried to use the cards at the ATM.

According to Lieutenant Jerry Brewer with the Sheriff’s Office, the man has been identified and is meeting with detectives.
