Man tells Cary police he murdered his mother, girlfriend

CARY, NC (WTVD) — Cary police arrested a man Sunday after he told them he murdered two women.

Around 3:40 p.m. authorities said 34-year-old Brandon Lee called police and claimed he killed his mother and girlfriend.

Police confirmed the two deaths, one on at Havers Drive and another on Parktop Drive. They were later identified as 58-year-old Christa Lee of Havers Drive and 28-year-old Krystal Juell Hylton of Parktop Drive.

Authorities took Lee – who also lives on Havers Drive – into custody without incident. He has been charged with two counts of murder. Lee is scheduled to make his first court appearance Monday afternoon.
