Man wanted in Calabash home invasion

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Investigators with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a man wanted in a home break-in.

Deputies said the incident happened a week ago today at a home in the 800-block of Thomasboro Road in Calabash. They said Luther Melvin Johnson II, 46, is wanted on charges of breaking and entering and larceny after breaking an entering. According to the arrest warrant, he took a laptop, a tablet and 20 pairs of underwear.

Johnson is described as a white male, 6’3″ and approximately 240 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. He could be driving a gold Ford sedan, deputies said.
