Man arrested, found with missing teen

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington man is charged in connection with a Brunswick County girl’s weekend disappearance. Santos Pachco-Sarmiento, 20, is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, felony drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies arrested Pachco-Sarmiento after a traffic stop on NC 211 Saturday night. They say in the car was a 14-year-old girl who had gone missing after a dance at Cedar Grove Middle School Friday night.

Pachco-Sarmiento is in the Brunswick County Jail under $2,500 bond.
