Man dies in Friday car accident

Twenty-seven-year-old Antonio Nava Gonzalez died in a car accident on Friday.

Gonzalez was driving along Highway 1336, about twelve miles west of Shallotte when he overturned his car.

Highway Patrol said Gonzalez ran off the road, and then flipped his car.

They said alcohol was a factor in the crash.
