Man pleads guilty to second-degree murder

WILMINGTON — One of four men charged with killing a Wilmington man last Christmas Eve pleaded guilty to second degree murder Monday morning.

Donnell Allen was sentenced to at least 14 years in prison for his role in the murder.
Prosecutors say he supplied the gun that killed Willie Duane Davis.

Gregory Lincoln pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact in August.

Lincoln and Allen were in the car when investigators say Nicholas Brown shot Davis on the corner of 14th and Church Streets in downtown Wilmington.

Brown and another suspect are still awaiting trial.
