Man stabbed multiple times

Time: 12:58 a.m. – Wednesday morning
Location: 400 block S. College Road
Offense: ADWISI

Summary: The male victim, age 28, was walking home after buying beer in a grocery store. He said he passed a man who was walking in the opposite direction. The victim said after he passed the man, the man turned around and attacked him, stabbing him in the side. The victim fell to the ground, and the suspect got on top of him. As the victim struggled, his attacker stabbed him several more times all over his body before running away. The victim said the man did not take anything or ask for anything. The victim was taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center for treatment. None of his injuries were life-threatening.
