Maple Hill man arrested on child sex offenses

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – The Pender County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man on several sex offenses involving a child.

Johnny Ray Carlton, Jr., 49, of Maple Hill is charged with one count each of statutory sex offense of a child by an adult, indecent liberties with a child and sexual battery.

Carlton is in jail under a $500,000 bond.
