Mardi Gras at the Terrace to benefit Community Boys and Girls Club

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Tonight, you can enjoy dinner, drinks, live music and casino games all for a good cause.

The proceeds benefit the Community Boys and Girls Club in Wilmington. Their mission is to “inspire and enable young people, especially those youth from disadvantaged circumstances and backgrounds, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens that achieve their highest goals.”

For over 80 years, the Community Boys & Girls Club has accomplished its goals of opening doors and transforming lives by providing a safe place where young people can be themselves, be proud, and experience opportunities never thought possible.  Through programs that expand horizons, the Club challenges youth to experience the world outside their doorsteps and gives them the tools they need to succeed.

Tonight’s event is from 6-11 p.m. at The Terraces at Sir Tyler (1826 Sir Tyler Dr., Wilmington). Tickets are available to purchase at the door or online for $125 each or $1,000 for a table of 10.

Live music will be provided by Darryl Murrill and Jazpel.

WWAY’s own Amanda Fitzpatrick will be the Mistress of Ceremonies.
