Marina trying to keep its head above water

A New Hanover County Marina is trying to stay afloat after filing for bankruptcy.

The Watermark Marina met with a bankruptcy administrator to show its plans for reorganization in an effort to keep its doors open.

The marina opened off of River Road in 2007 and includes 900 dry storage units and a potential 400 member yacht club.

According the bankruptcy filing, the marina owes between $10 and $50 million and has less than $10 million in assets.
