Marketplace on the River wraps up 2008 schedule

Saturday marked the final Marketplace on the River event for 2008.

There were vendors, artists and entertainers. It’s all a part of the Celebrate the Arts’ “Bizarre” Bazaar.

Claudia Bustamante, a Bizarre Bazaar vendor explained, “We normally do it the last Saturday of every month. I think it was a wonderful festival. We had a lot of craft vendors and a lot of people. I think it was good because everybody gets a little Christmas present for everybody.”

Marketplace on the River kicks back up again in April of 2009. It will continue to be held on the last Saturday of the month.
