Marshall predicts victory during Wilmington visit

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Just days away from the election, and candidates are out in full swing. US Senate candidate Elaine Marshall stopped by a campaign call center in Wilmington today to make support calls and get Democrats excited for Tuesday.

Despite a relatively small budget and a big gap in the polls, Marshall is still positive about her chances against incumbent Republican Richard Burr.

“Sure we’d have liked more money, but when you add what we’ve raised to the energy of the people that are here, the commitment of the people that are here, it’s all gonna come out in the end,” Marshall said. “I think it’s gonna be a close race, but we’re gonna pull it home. We’re gonna win.”

Only four more days until we find out.
