Marshals arrest man wanted for Bladen County attempted murder charges
BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — US Marshals say they have arrested a man wanted for several counts of attempted murder in Bladen County.
According to a news release, at around 2:30 p.m. the US Marshals Service Violent Fugitive Task Force-Wilmington Division arrested Meredith Jaquan Cromartie, 25, at a convenience store in Fayetteville.
Elizabethtown Police wanted Cromartie for five counts of attempted homicide and felon in possession of a firearm.
Police say on January 19, Cromartie shot at another gang member, but hit a car with four people, including a baby inside.
