Massive crowd enjoys holiday festivities on Wilmington riverfront

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It was a night full of red, white and blue across the Cape Fear.

On this Fourth of July, if you were anywhere near downtown Wilmington you probably saw a huge crowd of people gathering at the riverfront.

Folks enjoyed some live music, funnel cakes and fun with their families, all in anticipation of the fireworks shooting off from the Battleship North Carolina.
