Melissa McCarthy movie starts shooting in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Hollywood East is staying busy.

As “Iron Man 3” hits theaters, “Tammy,” another high-profile movie starring Oscar-nominee Melissa McCarthy, began production today.

Crews were set up today at Two Fat Ladies on Dawson Street in Wilmington.

They’ll be shooting at other locations around town over the next couple of months.
