Michael forces some flight cancellations, delays at ILM
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Tropical Storm Michael brought some wind and rain to the area which has forced some flights to be canceled or delayed at Wilmington International Airport.
A handful of flights were canceled Thursday as the main impact from Michael was felt in the Cape Fear.
According to Deputy Airport Director Gary Broughton, American has canceled their first three departures to Charlotte, Philadelphia, and LaGuardia Friday. That means American’s first departure will be at 7:09 a.m. to Charlotte. After that, they are running a normal schedule.
Delta Airlines and United Airlines both reportedly running a normal schedule Friday.
