Michelle Obama in Jacksonville Tuesday

Michelle Obama is planning a visit to Jacksonville Tuesday.

She will host a community event for military families at Jacksonville Commons Recreation Center. Obama is expected to talk about the challenges these families face when a loved one is deployed.

She will also discuss the Obama/Biden campaign to support troops and economic security for North Carolina families.

The event starts at 1:30 p.m. and is free to the public.
