‘Millionaire’ to hold auditions in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — The game show, “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire,” will look for contestants in Charlotte.

The syndicated show will hold contestant auditions from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the McGlohon Theatre. Audition space is limited, and not everyone who shows up is guaranteed admission.

Auditions start with a timed test. A “Millionaire” producer will then interview those who pass. Those who pass the morning test sessions will be given a specific time to return in the afternoon for another interview.

The producer will consider those who audition for either the syndicated version of the show, hosted by Meredith Vieira, or the 10th anniversary edition, which Regis Philbin will host.
