Missing Pender Co. teen found, Leland man charged

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Pender County Sheriff’s Office says a missing teen has been found and a Leland man charged in connection.

The Sheriff’s Office put out an alert looking for the missing 16-year-old girl from Rocky Point who they believed was with Collin Scott Aubry of Leland. They later said the girl had been found in Leland and that Aubry was in custody. He was booked into the Brunswick County Jail this morning under the name Scott Kenneth Aubry. Pender County investigators confirm it is the same person.

Aubry, 36, is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
