Mom to Mom: Chores
Every parent has a different idea of when they feel it’s time to teach kids about chores. In this week’s Mom to Mom, Sarah Pannell has some simple ideas to get kids motivated.
At age 2, she suggests teaching a child to clean their room and put their dirty clothes in the hamper. Older children can help fold clothes, set the table and make their bed. Pannell suggests using an incentive such as money or snacks to help children prioritize chores.
