Motorcyclist taken to hospital after wreck with pick-up

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital this afternoon after investigators say he hit a pick-up truck on N. College Road.

New Hanover County Sheriff’s deputies say the motorcycle rear-ended the truck in the 4500 block of N. College Road near Parmele Road. Investigators say they do not believe the rider had life-threatening injuries.

Traffic is moving again after the road was shut down as crews worked to clear the scene.
