Move over sports and fights, love is on TV at the bar now

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — If you watched “The Bachelor” on ABC and WWAY at home Monday night, you missed out on a good time at a “Bachelor” watch party.

It was at Fox & Hound at Mayfaire to see who would get a rose this week. Chris Soules is a farmer and former suitor on “The Bachelorette,” who is looking for his wife. At the beginning of Monday night’s episode, there were 15 contestants left.

This is the 19th season for the extremely popular, and addicting show. Because there are a ton of televisions, plus food and drinks at Fox and Hound, event organizers say it’s a perfect place to indulge in the show.

“Just come to Fox, and we’d love to have anyone and everyone. We obviously are the place where we want people to come to party, but also do things like this. Kind of hang out with your girls and drink some and you know, hang out,” said Brittany Green, the event organizer.

Green even put out chocolates and roses for the event.

“The Bachelor” airs every Monday night on ABC and WWAY. It starts at 8 p.m. “The Bachelor” watch parties start at 7:30 p.m. each Monday. Click here for more details about the events.
