Murder investigation waiting on autopsy

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Still no word what killed a woman found dead in her home Monday.

Wilmington Police say they received a call just after 3 a.m. Monday. When they arrived to the home on Pine Valley Drive they found the body of 59-year-old Carol Ann Johnson. Her fiance made the 911 call.

Investigators say they are waiting for the autopsy report. They have not said if they have any suspects yet.
