Museum features new Coastal Gallery Art Exhibit by local artist
OCEAN ISLE BEACH, NC (NEWS RELEASE) -– The Museum of Coastal Carolina is featuring artwork by Danielle Hilton, a new local artist, in its Coastal Gallery. The exhibit, called “Home,” is available for viewing now through January 4, 2014.
A Leland resident, Hilton discovered a love of the arts as early as her middle grade years. She decided to choose her career path in the arts and graduated from UNCW with a major in Theater Arts. Although costuming and painting are her main areas of interest, she feels at home projecting her style of art in various mediums. She designs costumes, customized satin broche wedding bouquets, and wedding belts. Ms. Hilton has traveled extensively while working as a flight attendant and uses her travel experiences as inspiration for her art. She is open to commission work with varied content.
The Museum of Coastal Carolina is located at 21 East Second Street in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Admission is free for members. Non-member all-day admission is $8 for adults (13-61), $7 for seniors (62+), $6 for children (3-12), and free for ages 2 and under.
