Museum booked with Read to Me Festival

The Wilmington Children’s Museum was packed with kids who love to read on Saturday.

Children had a chance to play and interact at the annual Read to Me Festival, hosted by the Wilmington Junior League.

Our own Ann McAdams was there with her son William. She read to a group of kids, and listened to music from a ukulele.

“This is one of our favorite events. This is something the junior league puts a lot of time and effort into. You can actually see the reward in the children’s eyes, and it’s great,” said Mary Heideereich of the Wilmington Junior League.

All kids got into the museum for free, and each received a free book.
