Myrtle Beach city council votes to not allow swingers club
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WPDE) — Myrtle Beach City Council voted “no” Tuesday to a proposal for a swingers club to open.
Amber Armour originally submitted a text amendment application to the City of Myrtle Beach Planning department in September.
In her application, Armour said the section of ordinance and city code that she wanted to amend was 203, because, “There does not currently appear to be an ordinance that properly defines a Members-Only Swing Club.”
The club would have been run by Armour and a man who has a similar club in Fayetteville.
