N.C. Holiday Flotilla coming up

The North Carolina Holiday Flotilla has entertained visitors in the waters around Wrightsville Beach for nearly 25 years. The event is a little over a month away and now is the time to sign up to be a part of it.

The flotilla kicks off November 23 with a tree-lighting ceremony. The following night is the boat parade, which you can participate in if you have access to a boat.

Boat captains get creative and decorate their boats in a variety of styles…and can even win big prizes.

Holiday Flotilla co-chair Cindy Jupp said, “Our grand prize $6,500 trip to the Bahamas. Five other categories receive cash prizes, first 25 to enter will receive spa certificates.”
