NAACP offers update in Lennon Lacy investigation

BLADENBORO, NC (WWAY) — The North Carolina NAACP will hold what organizers are calling a community mass meeting to discuss what it calls new findings in the investigation of the death of Lennon Lacy. It is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Bladenboro.

The 17-year-old was found dead hanging from a swing set in Bladenboro in August. Investigators say so far they have found no signs of foul play. Lacy’s family says they do not believe that. They have requested a federal investigation into Lacy’s death.
