National Weather Service issues Tornado Watch for Southeastern North Carolina

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) –The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch until 5 p.m. Sunday, October 11, for parts of southeastern North Carolina.

The watch includes Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover, and Pender counties.

Residents should stay weather-aware, monitor weather alerts and be prepared to seek shelter if a tornado warning is issued.
