Navassa Police investigating armed home invasion

NAVASSA, NC (WWAY) — Navassa Police are investigating a home invasion and armed robbery.

It happened just before 10:00 p.m. on Sunday at a home on Brooklyn Street.

Sgt. Scott Perez says a family was at home when two men with guns came inside.

The men took money and a handbag.

No one got hurt.
