NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher kicks off “Trick or Treat Under the Sea”
FORT FISHER, NC (WWAY) — The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher is taking trick-or-treating down a few leagues under the sea. Wednesday night kicked off the “Trick or Treat Under the Sea” event at the aquarium. Kids from all over were invited to show off their costumes, check out the sea life and stock up on some candy.
There are also games, magic shows, live animal encounters and spooky divers swimming among the sharks.
Local businesses and agencies were represented giving away treats and coupons to trick-or-treaters.
The fun continues Thursday and Friday nights from 4:30 to 8 p.m. It’s $11 per person, but children two and younger are free.
Those guests looking for more of a scare can check out the Haunted Trail at the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area (1000 Loggerhead Road). The free Haunted Trail will be only open 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday and is recommended for ages 10 and older.
